These can be played as both new protagonist Emily Kaldwin or original Dishonored hero Corvo Attano, and any progress you make during the trial period will carry over should you choose to purchase the full game. This gives you a chance to experience the first few missions of the entire game.

Dishonored 2 was released in November a year ago and if it failed to capture your attention back then, perhaps it will be able to do a much better job of it this time around.

Bethesda will be releasing a free demo trial for Dishonored 2 later this week.

The demo will be available starting April 6 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Dishonored 2 came out in November 2016 on the heels of Titanfall 2, Civilization VI, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and was looked over by many a preoccupied gamer.

Three missions might not sound like a whole lot of content, but Dishonored 2 only contains nine missions in its entirety.

Bethesda has revealed that Dishonored 2 will get a free trial later this week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. How will you combine your powerful supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets to eliminate your enemies?

But hey, at least now you will be able to play and test the game before getting it!
