SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS... Tacoma, Seattle, Everett, Bremerton, and Shelton.

If these winds develop, they could cause tree damage and lead to power outages.

Winds will increase during the morning with the highest gusts expected during the afternoon. Rain is likely to accompany the wind here, making for potentially miserable conditions through the weekend and into next week. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.

MONDAY NIGHT.Cooler. Partly cloudy.

On Sunday, partly sunny skies are expected, with a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Since the ground is relatively warm, the about half an inch of snow is expected to accumulate on the ground. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75.

Winds through western Solano County, including Benicia, Vallejo, Fairfield and Suisun City, are forecast between 21 and 29 miles per hour and gusts reaching 38 mph.


Saturday: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Thursday evening, almost 1,600 customers mostly between Hayes and Gratiot south of 12 Mile Road lost power, with restoration expected at 8:45 p.m.
