A February 2016 wrong-way crash near the same part of I-75 in Dayton killed five people in what was found to be the deadliest crash in OH since 2013.

A portion of Interstate 75 in Dayton, Ohio is shut down because of a large semi-tanker fire.

A fatal wrong-way crash led to a massive fireball caught on video on an OH highway.

Part of the interstate in OH could be closed for days after police say a vehicle going the wrong direction crashed into a truck carrying gasoline, sparking a huge fireball and killing one person.

Officials reopened the northbound lane of I-75 after having to close the interstate to all traffic earlier in the night.

Police and the Montgomery County Coroner's Office did not release the man's name, nor the name of the truck driver who suffered minor injuries.

"The Department of Transportation is on-scene and they are going to make an assessment of the freeway to make sure it's structurally sound", Dayton Police Lt. Mark Ponichtera said, via WDTN-TV.

2 NEWS Reporter Jordan Bowen is on the scene. That side of the highway is expected to be closed for a few days.
