Hollywood's newest fairytale centers on an Olympic diver, an Oscar-winning screenwriter and an English countryside that rivals the grounds on Downton Abbey: Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are officially married.

In a gorgeous Instagram post, Daley shared how he married the love of his life, and thanked everyone who made the weekend the most special weekend of their lives.

He didn't give much away in his caption, but opted for a simple 'what did you do this weekend?'.

He also gave special credits to fashion brand Burberry, the London Gay Men's Chorus, and photographer Andy Mac.

Daley was hospitalized just two days before his wedding.

A second picturesque snap featured Dustin and Tom on a stone bridge as they stood close to each other, with Dustin writing: 'So... what did you do this weekend?'

It was reported that the pair had injected their personalities and families in every element of the wedding - with Tom's love of food, having released a cookbook earlier this year, coming in to play.

Pirate FM told you Tom is believed to have sang a line from Romeo and Juliet from the balcony, ahead of the ceremony. It's a fun time and exciting time. I was out of the country for about seven months previous year.

"He even gave up alcohol with me for two years before the Olympics". We finally set a date and things are very good, very good now.

"This is someone that I've connected with on a whole new level,'" Daley, who came out in a YouTube video shortly after he and Black began dating in 2013, said.

The ceremony was held in the luxury Bovey Castle Hotel in Devon, England, just 30 miles from Daley's native Plymouth.
