EPL champions Chelsea defeated Watford 4-3 at Stamford Bridge on May 15, 2017 to put icing on the cake as they are set to be crowned on the final day when they face Sunderland at home.

John Terry, leaving the club in the summer, was given a rare start and the club captain scored the opener in the 22nd minute, reacting first inside the box after Willian's corner had fallen near him.

However, two minutes later Watford scored the equalizer courtesy Etienne Capou.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has named Cesar Azpilicueta a model footballer, insisting that the Spaniard's professionalism is such that he would gladly pull on gloves and play in goal for the club if he were asked.

Antonio Conte, whose name was sang all around the stadium from minute one onward, made plenty of changes into the starting side as he fringe players such as Kenedy, Nathaniel Chalobah and Asmir Begovic all started the game.

'I think he should be hitting 20, 25 and double figures for assists'.

But, Elisabetta Muscarello was spotted at Chelsea for the Monday night clash against Watford. John Terry hasn't played this season.

It does help having a £25m-rated global striker on the bench to call on for a change of pace but Conte's first season has been a triumph after taking control last autumn and they have to be applauded.

Eden Hazard needs to be scoring 20 plus goals for Chelsea next season, according to Gary Neville.

Jamie Carragher said it was written in the stars that John Terry would score on what could be his penultimate appearance at Stamford Bridge as a Chelsea player on Monday night.

"I just love winning and that's been great for me over my career", Terry said in an interview with former England teammates Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher after completing 90 minutes against Watford. The wife of the Chelsea boss is expected to join her husband in their London home next season.

"When you arrive at this moment and your heart, your head and your body tell you continue to play, because you want to play, it's right".

Watford ended an eventful match with 10 men after Sebastian Prodl was sent off for a second bookable offence following a reckless injury-time challenge on Pedro.

Not satisfied with his first Premier League goal since January 2016, Azpilicueta twice tried to add to his tally and came close to doing so, if not for a stunning save from Gomes.
