What's In iOS 10.3.2? Apple Releases Update For iPhones And iPads

As always, it pays to wait at least a few days to install these updates. Apple has a KnowledgeBase article that details the security content.

macOS 10.12.5 - macOS 10.12.5 Sierra is available via Software Update, where it's a roughly 894 MB download. Apple doesn't seem to be running out of ideas anytime soon!

The update itself effects a number of elements of the OS, but of particular note to digital publishers are those parts concerning iBooks.

iOS, watchOS and tvOS follow a similar pattern with nothing new added this time following the addition of minor features during the last round of updates. This is because Apple has recently released its latest update to the platform in the form of iOS 10.3.2. The update "includes bug fixes and improves the security" of iOS devices, says Apple.

Meantime, Apple has already released the fifth iOS 10.3.2 beta for testing on iPad, iPod touch and iPhone. Then you can launch the Watch app on your iPhone and tap General Software Update. The watch needs to be connected to a charger, in range of the iPhone, and charged to more than 50 percent. Don't start installing if you'll want to use the watch again within an hour or so - watchOS updates take surprisingly long to load.

watchOS 3.2.2 features 10 security fixes.

The update also fixes that same two security issues with iBooks mentioned above (where certain eBooks book may open arbitrary websites without user permission, and where the eBook might execute arbitrary code with root privileges).
