When Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron announced the results, judges Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli stood up in shock, while Carrie Ann Inaba's mouth dropped open and Len Goodman placed his face in his hands to show his outrage and disappointment.

After last week's frustration regarding the Dancing With the Stars judges, Simone Biles has returned successfully this week.

I have a flair for the dramatic this morning; you'll have to forgive me.

To which Biles replied: "Smiling doesn't win you gold medals". "After Heather [Morris] and Nancy [Kerrigan's] departures, it was nearly certain that Simone would make the final considering her place in the final four". "I'm very proud of how far she's come", he gushed. Vying for Mirror Ball are Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater, Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy, and David Ross and Lindsay Arnold.

Bruno stops in to work on Rashad's extremities.

Simone Biles performs on Dancing with the Stars on April 10, 2017.

Tonight, Simone delivered the raw emotion that Carrie Ann had been looking for - not once, but twice, earning flawless 40s for both her jive and her rumba.

"Listen, if you're going to go out, you go out on a note like that", Farber said.

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy kicked off the first round, which was the Judges Challenge Dances. "I feel like I found out a lot about myself - not just "Gymnastics Simone" but 'Normal Simone'". "I've matured. And I can't wait to go home and I'll be back next week at the finale", she said after the elimination.

Let's talk about her ideal week and ultimate downfall. "You were a torpedo in a tuxedo". One couple will be eliminated at the end of the night while the other three will advance to next week's finale. "I don't know what else I can do". "We heard everyone, and I think everyone's a little bit shocked".

One big reason Biles says she isn't too upset about the loss is that she's not almost as familiar with the intricacies of dancing as she is with gymnastics, so she doesn't have the same insatiable competitive drive.

ET's Cameron Mathison caught up with the performer on Monday night after she nailed a ideal score on DWTS, where she seemed open to the idea of a date with Bonner. See you next week - keep dancing!

Now, the elite gymnast has taken her routine from the balance beam to the dance floor on the 24th season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars".
