The game will be available on October 17th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Ubisoft has already delayed the game twice, first from December to Q1 2017 and then in February it was shifted to "sometime before March 2018". In the same vein as The Stick of Truth (which was pretty darn great), players will get to create their own character to inject into the world of South Park.

A trailer has been released for the new South Park game The Fractured But Whole.

A lot's changed on South Park since the last time the series did the superhero thing.

The description reads: "Evil is rising in the town of South Park". Will your time-bending farts be enough to save the day?

Gamers will play the new kid in town and learn fart-based powers to create their own superhero, capable of saving the quiet mountain town from certain doom in a uniquely flatulent way. This delay also came with Ubisoft having to refund pre-orders of The Fractured But Whole and revoke access to copies of The Stick of Truth gained through these pre-orders. There will also be a revamped looting and crafting system that will give players freedom to craft their own crime fighting equipment.

There are five editions of The Fractured But Whole available: Standard, Gold, Steelbook Gold, Collector's Edition Standard, and Collector's Edition Gold.

In addition, if you pre-order the game you'll receive an exclusive in-game assistant, Towelie: Your Gaming Bud. The streets of South Park aren't as safe as they used to be, and even the most seasoned South Park veteran will need help.
