There's a new Spider-Man game that's being developed by Insomniac Games. The trailer for God of War introduced us to the story, and how the game centres around the bond between Kratos and his son.

This year's lineup may seem sparse in retrospect with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The point is that even if we must wait, Sony offered assurance that these games will be good. "We have a contract with the people who go online with us, that we look after them and they are within the PlayStation curated universe".

The game is only due out in 2018 and is definitely one to keep on your radar for the coming year.

Not a whole lot in the way of substance here, but more of a mood piece for PS VR title The Inpatient.

Spider-Man will launch on PlayStation 4 some time in 2018. It shows footage of Spider-Man chasing this villain down as he flies away in a helicopter through a busy New York City. The gameplay of the upcoming Spiderman game by Insomniac games, Marvel, and Sony Interactive Entertainment has incredible acrobatic abilities and web-slinging in the open world.

For most attendees and onlookers, PlayStation's Spider-Man title was the blockbuster announcement with its extravagant visuals and choreographed stunts, including parkour, web-slinging and, of course, a helicopter chase. If you've never played Shadow of the Colossus before, then consider watching this one as move toward release, as it could very well end up being the definitive version of the game. Announcements that Rocket League and Minecraft will support cross-play between PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, but not PS4 has some fans fuming. It's the case with many third person VR titles but fingers crossed that Moss will somehow find a way to really make use of the new technology in a way that doesn't just feel like another gimmick.

"The reboot of "#God Of War" was first announced during last year's E3 event. However, fans are still hoping to see some shades of "The Last of Us Part 2".
