The actor was arrested early Sunday morning (June 18, 2017), as he was literally falling down drunk and refusing to cooperate with the police.

According to People, police officers in San Diego approached Teller because he appeared intoxicated and was having trouble keeping his balance.

"Upon contact the officer noticed that Teller was 'swaying side to side, had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.' At one point, Teller lost his balance and nearly fell into the street where there was traffic", the spokesperson mentioned.

The city's police department offer to take drunk citizens to detox centres run by volunteers where someone can stay overnight and sleep off the booze, however Teller allegedly refused. "I wasn't arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime", Miles tweeted. That didn't happen. We're told he refused to follow directions so the staff rejected him.

Actor Miles Teller arrested in Pacific Beach for being drunk in public. He was released four hours later without bail.

A rep for Teller did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.

Six months ago, Teller was involved in a scary vehicle crash in Los Angeles. "The other driver pulled into oncoming traffic and bad accident was unavoidable", he tweeted at the time.
