As we know already, many 360 games are compatible with Xbox One, but this week they announced their expansion on that with the classic Xbox library. In a recap post on Xbox Wire, Microsoft said that 22 of these games will have "console exclusivity", though the company didn't make it clear what were the differences between the "Xbox exclusive" and "console launch exclusive" wordings that have been heavily used during the media briefing. Microsoft laid all speculations to rest when it was announced that the Xbox One X would retail for $499.

Do you think Xbox One X will help Microsoft win the holiday period?

A particular aspect of the Xbox One X which kept fans guessing was the price tag that the console would bear upon release. It will be different from any other Xbox console filled with many different features. The unfair pricing is going to hold down the new Xbox and Sony will continue to sell more games and consoles.

"We have the world's most powerful console and like with any kind of consumer product out there, there's a certain customer that walks in and says, 'I just want the very best.' And we have the very best, the world's most powerful console. It's a little bit easier when you have a fixed spec, when you think about Xbox, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X. And you think of the variable specs of the PC space, so you're taking a fixed-spec PowerPC emulator and then moving it over to run on PC, so there's a lot of work there".

Xbox fans have been on edge since Microsoft first teased "Project Scorpio" (rumored name) at E3 previous year by sharing just a glimpse of the new hardware. Although on the expensive side, the Xbox One X boasts enough power to justify its price point.

12GB GDDR5 of graphic memory add speed and power.

Spencer touted his console's superior GPU, CPU, RAM, and while those are facts, it is also a fact that Xbox One S is nowhere in the same league as PlayStation 4 Pro. The One X does support 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, which is a huge bonus for a lot of consumers, especially if they own a 4K TV but haven't yet invested in a standalone 4K Blu-ray player.
