Colton Haynes has announced that he's already began filming on the seventh season of American Horror Story, which is expected to air later this year. But since this is "American Horror Story", fans can expect something appropriately gruesome for Haynes. Stay tuned for more info as it comes! The actor shared the same photo Murphy did, adding that he's excited to be part of the AHS family.

"American Horror Story" veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will return.

The 28 year old had previously worked with Murphy on two episodes of the Fox series Scream Queens which recently ended its two season run.

"American Horror Story" is expected to return to FX in the U.S. later this year.

It could be that we're about to see Colton Haynes' darkest side yet.

Little is known about the upcoming season except that it takes place in the aftermath of the 2016 USA presidential election. Murphy teased another photo on his Instagram of Lourd with white hair, captioned "Winter is coming".

According to Murphy, the upcoming season of AHS has a politically-charged theme. "Which in itself was a horror story, so it's like a horror story upon a horror story".

"The first 10 minutes of the season, this season, takes place in a very eerie macabre way on election night and there's something awful that happens in the lives of our characters on election night as they're watching it all go down", he added in a later interview. We cannot wait to see what will happen.
