KD later clarified on twitter that he wasn't slighting Fultz, Embiid, Dario and Simmons, rather he just isn't a fan of the FEDS nickname.

Although Embiid attributed Sixers fans for the new label, the 23-year-old added fuel to the fire when he tweeted out "the FEDS are coming" after Philly selected Fultz with the top pick in Thursday's National Basketball Association draft.

"FEDS" is the nickname of the 76ers potential starters for next season. That would be an acronym for Fultz, Embiid, Dario, and Simmons.

Sixers fans are really excited about the future of their core and truly believe this group can win a championship someday.

"How they got a nickname and they ain't played no games together?" No matter what you think of the quality of the FEDS moniker, there are some people who think that nicknames should be earned, and Warriors star Kevin Durant is among them. This is a group that has never played on the floor together and has two key pieces that have yet to prove they can stay healthy.

Kevin Durant is fresh off a title with the Warriors.
