Recently, we reported that Asus is getting ready to launch the Asus Zenfone AR smartphone soon in India.

Asus Zenfone 4 Max Pricing and Availability: The Asus ZenFone 4 Max comes in Black, Gold and Pink colors and pricing starts at 13900 Ruble (US$ 234) for the base 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version.

The phone is put up with the price tag of RUB 13,900 ($235/€205) in Russian Federation, for the Quad-Core SD425 model, with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The latest model, the ZenFone 4 Max, is no different, packing a 5,000mAh battery. As for the operating system, the Asus Zenfone 4 Max will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The Asus Zenfone AR will come with a new immersive five-magnet speaker which supports High-Res Audio and DTS virtual surround sound.

The phone has a 13MP dual camera on the back and an 8MP front shooter.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Asus Zenfone 4 Max comes equipped with a full-HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass coating on top of the display. It is powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clubbed with up to 8 gigs of RAM and up to 256GB if storage which is also expandable. You can also have up to 4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB storage. Surprisingly, it features a non-hybrid dual SIM slot and a microSD card at the same time.

The Zenfone 4 Max nearly retains the company's design approach with a few changes on the front.

The ZenFone 4 Max is a pretty interesting proposition in its segment, thanks to its up-to-date internals and massive battery, but the dual camera setup makes it stand out from the crowd. The first camera has f/2.0 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens and the second camera has with 120° field of view and EIS. The cameras are also accompanied with single-LED flash and PDAF for quick focusing. On the front side, you will find the fingerprint sensor, which is able to recognize up to 5 fingers.

Asus had unveiled the world's first Tango-powered and Daydream-ready smartphone, the Zenfone AR at CES 2017 show held earlier this year in January. Diving into its specs, the smartphone's 5000mAh battery can apparently last for 22 hours of video playback and 40 hours of talk time. Dimensionally, the handset measures 154 x 76.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 181 grams.
