Destiny 2 Open Beta Trailer Previews Upcoming Content

Destiny 2 is the sequel to the internationally acclaimed Destiny, a first-person action game that takes the player on an epic journey to defend humanity from annihilation.

The Crucible competitive multiplayer in the upcoming beta tests of Destiny 2 will also feature two game modes, namely, Countdown and Control.

Bungie has already given the public the chance to try out Destiny 2 at E3 2017, but now it looks like more than a few thousand people will get their chance to check out an expanded preview of the game later this month. The new subclasses available include the Dawnblade Warlock, Arcstrider Hunter and Sentinel Titan. Finally, players will also be able to check out the new home base for the Guardians, known as "The Farm", though the social space will only be open for one hour on the 23rd of July at 6PM UK time.

Control - The original standard for Crucible combat is back, with some impactful changes. This summer Legends Start Early in the Destiny 2 Open Beta. Interestingly, players who participate in the testing phase will receive a special beta banner, which they will receive once the game officially launches.

Playable during the game's beta period will be the game's first story mission where players will first encounter Ghaul and witness the fall of the Tower.

The beta phase of "Destiny 2" is slated to kick off on PlayStation 4 come July 18 and Xbox One on July 19.

Destiny 2 will be released September 6th on Xbox One and PS4, with PC to follow in October.
