The host of the Late Late Show was joined on his way to work by none other than the Fresh Prince of Bel Air himself, Will Smith, for a special Apple Music episode of the popular series. On July 20, Bennington was found dead of an apparent suicide at his residence in Palos Verdes Estates, California.

The spin-off of The Late Late Show With James Corden segment began this week - with the band's participation in the hit series confirmed earlier this year. They seriously pushed the boat out this time round and have a full band involved marching alongside the vehicle while the pair sing along to the hit song.

"We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled", he said. In a teaser clip, we see the band get behind the wheel with comedian Billy Eichner and sing along to classics like "Enter Sandman" - as well as cuts from Disney's The Little Mermaid and Rihanna's "Diamonds".

Corden who is an executive producer on the show said he would respect the family's wishes during an interview with the Associated Press yesterday.

Corden's message was appreciated by Bennington's widow, Talinda - who thanked him for his words on Twitter.

Bennington was laid to rest in a private funeral held near his home in California on July 29.

From Stevie Wonder to Red Hot Chili Peppers, nearly every musical artist in the business wants a slice of the Carpool Karaoke pie, and Metallica are up next.

The exact date of the "Carpool Karaoke" episode with James, in which LeBron and Corden also appear in a parody of a buddy cop movie entitled "James and James", is not yet known.
