Humidity builds in NH, rain for Saturday

Some scattered storms popped up during the day.

Thursday Night.Mostly cloudy. Showers and storms possible.

Like Saturday, severe weather is possible in the afternoon and evening Monday.

Sun: High: 91 Low: 70 Mostly sunny. The normal high this time of year is 89 with a normal low of 69. More of Northeast Kansas looks to crack into the low 80s for tomorrow, with some mid 80s mixing in, as well. As forecasted, Saturday did come with a fair share of showers and thunderstorms. Water temperatures are in the upper 60s and lower 70s with plenty of sunshine.

Things clear out early and make way for a mostly cloudy evening with temps dropping to 70°. Winds will be south-southwest around 5 miles per hour.

Other than a slight chance for a late-day shower on Tuesday, we have more nice weather for the middle of the week, with high temperatures right on track for mid-August and dry weather overall, with no heat waves. The high will be 88.

Northeast wind at 5-10mph. We'll also be watching a few showers squeezing in from the west by Monday morning. The overnight low will be 72. The Hurricane Center expects the storm to remain a strong tropical storm, with sustained core wind remaining under the 74 miles per hour hurricane threshold. The rain risk will be 50 percent.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low of 57. The high will be 87, after a morning low of 71. Some clouds will be sticking around, but once a cold front passes through later this afternoon we should start to see some clearing outside.

Friday: Periods of rain and showers. The high will be 89, after a morning low of 69.

Monday will be slightly warmer with highs in the 80's and 90's.
