Rocket League for Switch Gets Sweet New Mario & Luigi Cars

Psyonix will be making investing in the Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League that much more enticing and compelling for players on the fence, by offering special Mario and Luigi themed cars, named the Mario NSR and Luigi NSR. So what better way to celebrate a partnership with Nintendo than to reveal three new Battle-cars coming with the game's release.

For the curious, team color decides which version of the new Battle-Cars appear on the pitch. This might prove to be slightly confusing, as each vehicle is primarily red or green, with blue highlights that are meant to look like their suspenders. Which team you're on in any given match will affect which cars you can use: if you're on Blue team, you'll have access to the Luigi NSR and a tweaked Samus vehicle styled after her Varia Suit; if you're on Orange team, you'll be able to drive the Mario NSR and Samus' Gunship. Both cars have a Super Star boost that leaves behind a trail of stars. Samus' Gunship also has two different variations based upon what team color a player chooses, and are styled after different Varia Suits. The second exclusive Battle-Car is Samus' Gunship from Metroid.

Rocket League on Switch will also have some exclusive customizations.

Seriously, pick up Rocket League.

Rocket League can be played on practically every modern console, so in order to make getting it on the Switch something worth doing, they're digging deep into Nintendo's history.
