According to Chris Harry of floridagators.com, Florida coach Jim McElwain told the media Robinson will not play against MI after being charged with marijuana possession in their university apartment last week. He answered: "I have not heard Florida announce who their starting quarterback will be".

Of course, the 17th-ranked Gators still have not determined a starting quarterback, at least publicly. We'd love to have that information. "So, no, we're not announcing our starting quarterback. Very interesting. We'd like to have that information from them, I'm sure they'd like to have it from us, and right now neither is giving that information".

McElwain was asked about the approach Harbaugh has taken toward the roster matter.

"We have a plan that's in place", McElwain said Monday.

When asked if it would be a game-time decision on who starts, McElwain said, "We've got a plan". That was his choice in doing it, which is probably not something I'd do.

As for Michigan's color rush uniforms, this is the second time the Wolverines have worn all-maize uniforms and the first time since 1928. Graduate transfer Malik Zaire (Notre Dame) and redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks are competing with Luke Del Rio, the junior incumbent.

This Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines will take the field against the Gators in the first regular-season contest between the schools.

The season opener between the Wolverines and Gators is schedule for this Saturday, September 2nd at 3:30pm ET.
