The three iPhones- iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone 8, might not be named as everyone is expecting them to be. The latest news says that the iPhone 8 is scheduled to be launched on September 12.

Invitations sent in the United States overnight show the iPhone launch will be aptly staged in Steve Jobs Theater, named after the company's famous co-founder who launched the iPhone as "one more thing" 10 years ago.

Virgin Media from Ireland has just released a poster asking their customers to register if they would like to be the first to know about the upcoming device, the Apple iPhone 8.

While Apple did not specify what will be announced, it's safe to assume that we will be treated to the new iPhone 7s, 7s Plus, and the iPhone 8. Hence Sept. 12 would mark the beginning of most important product launch event for Apple. "Both Apple and Accenture are leaders in building incredible user experiences and together we can continue to truly modernise how businesses work through fantastic solutions that take advantage of the incredible capabilities of Apple's technologies".

There have been plenty of rumours ranging from iPhone 8 (the most common) to iPhone Pro to iPhone Edition.

While the left side will house the volume rockers (up & down) and the ring/silent-mode button, the iPhone X at the bottom will feature a lightning port in the middle with stereo speakers on both the sides.

It was pretty clear from the very first speculations and rumors that this year's premium flagship iPhone model wouldn't follow the traditional naming method or moniker and be called the "7s". It is unlikely the iPhone 8 will have such an advancement. To put that into perspective, the iPhone 7 is 4.7 inches and the iPhone 7 Plus is 5.5 inches.

The iPhone 7 presented a dilemma for Apple, since it reused the same overall design for the third year. The big iPhone reveal is set for September 12. "Assembly process for the previous generations of (iPhones) have not changed much, though new features like waterproof and wireless charging now require some different testing, and waterproof function will alter the assembly process a bit", Hwang reportedly told reporters during a shareholders' meeting. The numbering system stopped making any sort of sense a long time ago, and an overhaul to iPhone branding is long overdue. Moreover, all the devices are expected to go up on pre-order starting September 15 while shipments could likely begin on September 22.
