On Monday, Gaga, who recently kicked off her Joanne World Tour, was forced to postpone her show in Montreal after a recent rain-soaked performance in NYC landed her with a nasty cold.

Gaga explained on Twitter that she had gotten sick after performing in the rain in NY last week.

Despite his cuddles, the rain caught up with Gaga who explained her previous gig at Citi Field in NY left her "sick".

The singer said she was "devastated" to miss the gig in Montreal, Canada, on September 4 and attributed her illness to singing in the rain during a show in NY.

Lady Gaga performs a medley from "The Sound of Music" during the live ABC Telecast of The 87th Oscars® at the Dolby® Theatre in Hollywood, CA on Sunday, February 22, 2015.

In the meantime, she thanked them for their patience by sending free pizza to the people gathered outside her hotel showing their support. "I love u so much & I'm so sorry u are the most loyal fans", she wrote.

It was the only Montreal date on her current world-tour, supporting her most recent album "Joanne".

Lady Gaga sent pizzas and signed autographs for fans waiting outside her hotel after she cancelled a gig in Montreal last night (September 4). "I love you. Xoxo, Joanne".

And she didn't stop there.

Postponing the show at such short notice was potentially catastrophic for those fans who had travelled to the city.

Several of Gaga's fans then began sharing pictures on Twitter of themselves eating the pizza graciously granted to them by the "Million Reasons" singer.
