Speaking to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, she said: "The day The Hunger Games came out was a weird one for me because I wasn't famous 24 hours earlier and I got up to go about my day as usual and went to the grocery store". "Especially having worked with these exciting actors and these directors who I so admire".

In the same interview Lawrence also gushed about the film's director and her alleged boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky.

She said: "Now I have an understanding".

The flick is slated to release today. "Like those things where someone says something in the moment and you're supposed to react in the moment with surprise or embarrassment and she was doing it take after take".

"This Sept. 6, 2017 file photo, Jennifer Lawrence poses for photographers upon arrival at the premiere of the film Mother", in London. She told Vogue that Aronofsky didn't seem phased. While she is busy painting the walls gold, he toils in his office, trying to find inspiration for his next book. Lawrence has been steadily working and racking up awards show nominations for the past seven years, so (though well deserved) it's shocking to hear she'll be taking some time off. "Now I'm like...[shocked face]"'.

Mother stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, and Michelle Pfeiffer and opens September 17. But also I get time off from it. I was like: we're going to shoot in East Detroit and East New York. This is like a really, really bad nightmare. There's talk of another Oscar nomination for Lawrence, and she is now in a relationship with Arnofsky, a Brooklyn native.

The star's political activism, Breitbart News' John Nolte notes, may be hurting her box office brand.

Hollywood beauty Jennifer Lawrence admitted she struggled to cope with the global fame that came her way with the "The Hunger Games" franchise and had to lock herself in her home. "She's a very smart woman".
