Since Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is one of the company's biggest games releasing this year, Capcom may want to generate additional hype for it by revealing gameplay footage of one of the upcoming DLC fighters at the show. Capcom has previously confirmed the addition of Black Panther on the Marvel side and Mega Man X bad guy Sigma on the Capcom side. It's no surprise to see Black Widow and Winter Soldier in the lineup given how central they are to the modern Marvel film universe - and especially the absurd popularity of our boy Bucky. Though the list debunks the leak that was revealed a while ago, it only barely does so. What's surprising about the DLC characters is that it's mostly Marvel, with only two Capcom characters in Sigma and Monster Hunter. The Monster Hunter represantive will be a female hunter, too, rocking some of the series' iconic gear.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is launching with quite the roster of playable fighters from both the Capcom and Marvel brands, but the game will add even more characters to the fray post-launch. Fighting game fans will also be able to do battle with their favorite Pokemon in the enhanced and expanded Pokken Tournament DX for the Switch, as well as the Dragon Ball characters found in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

In a statement to GameStop, Capcom confirmed the last four characters that will be coming as DLC.
