The team is off to an 0-5 start and in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Charges they lost both Odell Beckham Jr and Dwayne Harris to broken bones.

ALAMEDA, Calif. - Oakland quarterback Derek Carr is expected to return to the Raiders' lineup for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, two weeks after suffering a broken bone in his back.

The star Giants wide receiver posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday morning from his hospital bed after having surgery to fix a fracture in his left ankle Monday night at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.

Marshall was one of four Giants wide receivers knocked out of Sunday's game. Beckham has said he wants to be the highest-paid player in the National Football League, which was not going to happen even if he was soaring to new heights and leading the Giants to a glorious season.

One of the players that was supposed to be okay with just a sprained ankle is wide receiver Brandon Marshall. He sprained his left ankle in the August 21 preseason game in Cleveland and missed the regular-season opener in Dallas. The Giants placed Beckham and Harris, who is primarily a kick returner, on injured reserve.

Australian punter Lachlan Edwards had another strong game for New York Jets, punting six times for an average of 43.5 yards and a long of 62 in their 17-14 victory over the winless Cleveland Browns.

"[The previous sprain] probably made him more prone to injury", he said, "but I would have cleared him to play because the chances are so low".

Beckham had five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers, ending his season with 25 catches, 302 yards and three touchdowns.

Bills tight end Charles Clay is carted off the fi eld in the fi rst half Sunday against the Bengals in Cincinnati. The team is also re-signing receiver Tavarres King to its active roster.
