Xiaomi Mi A1 Available In Europe Via A Number Of Retailers

Full-Vision displays aren't new but Xiaomi's approach is unique. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating with MIUI 9 and has a non-removable 3400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The Mi MIX 2 was launched in China in last month close by the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. We pitted all four smartphones based on their price, specifications and features, and here's how they compare.

Priced at Rs 35,999, the Mi MIX 2 will be available at special preview sale for Mi Fans on October 17 at 12 Noon on Mi.com and Flipkart. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will come out as the successor of the Mi Mix which was launched in 2016.

The smartphone will be sold at Flipkart.com, Mi.com, Mi preferred partners, and Mi Home stores. That's now one of the most powerful mobile SoC in the market.

The display on the smartphone is a 5.99 inch IPS screen (18:9 aspect ratio) which sports 1080 x 2160 pixels with a combined pixel density of 403 ppi.

The Mi Mix 2 smartphone comes in Black color variant and it packed with the company proprietary "cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology" which delivers sound through the metal frame. This panel comes with curved edges and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The price of the Xiaomi Mi A1 varies from one country to the other. Most of the internal specifications of the two devices are the same - Snapdragon 835 chipset, 3.3 Ah battery, 6 GB of RAM etc.

The company expects to sell more handsets than a year ago when it managed to sell 58 million units due to new product launches at reasonable prices without compromising on features and gaining popularity in India. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes with a 12 Megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. The front camera is also having face recognition capabilities for unlocking the device. The camera on the back is 12MP with 4-axis optical image stabilization. Both cameras work in tandem to let you click standard photos and wide-angle shots.

The Mi Mix 2 also features global LTE support with 43 bands across 6 network modes which promise to operate in around 226 regions across the world.
