Katy has now been busier than ever on her Witness tour, and she has been getting rave reviews so malfunction or not, everything should be fine for her. Despite the mishaps, the 32-year-old seemed to enjoy herself, as after the concert she took to Twitter to write, "SMASHVILLE aka Nashville u were an INCREDIBLE time tonight!" "This is the first time that I've been stuck in space". What should I do? "Should I just sing another song?"

The singer had just finished performing "Thinking of You", at which point she was supposed to descend back to the stage of the Bridgestone Arena. "You'd better put your phones up, it's a YouTube moment!". Perry assured fans that as she dangled above them she was receiving constant updates from "the voice of God in my ear". "This is what you get for trying to bring out all of space to Nashville!" Perry was right about the scene being a "YouTube moment" as many fans uploaded footage of the malfunction to the internet.

The "Swish Swish" singer found herself floating above her audience during Wednesday night's show in Nashville - but it wasn't on objective. Once it had gotten as close to the crowd as it could without bumping into audience members, Perry dove off the planet and crowd-surfed to safety.

Katy's fourth concert tour promoting her fifth studio album Witness also features dancers, flamingo puppets, a floating cuboid, fireworks, and Super Bowl scene-stealer Left Shark.
