The program includes special items for businesses with exclusive pricing, purchasing analytics and the ability to leverage Amazon's massive logistics operation.

In just its first year alone, the program raked in over $1 billion in sales and now the company is looking to expand on that success by offering annual memberships in the USA and Germany that provide users with free-two day shipping on eligible items.

Amazon says that in the U.S., Business Prime Shipping offers unlimited free two-day shipping on eligible items for all users on an Amazon Business account. The pricing is $499 for up to 10 users, $1,299 for up to 100 users, and $10,099 for over 100 users. Businesses that want over 100 employees to have access must pay $10,099 annually.

Once a company signs up for the program, all the employees or users will be notified through email about the benefits they are entitled to.

Greg Greeley, VP of Amazon Prime, said the company is excited to introduce the new shipping program and described it as combining the vast selection of products open to Amazon Business clients with the convenience and speed that Prime is famous for.

Amazon Business provides free multi-user accounts for organizations. The program later expanded to other markets, including Germany, as well as the United Kingdom, and more recently, India and Japan.
