To take advantage of the feature, you will need the GameCube controller USB adapter that Nintendo released for use with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and of course a GameCube controller.

It's a neat little feature, albeit one that requires Switch owners to use a USB adapter to wire up the GameCube gamepad to the Switch. Red Bull Games got to interview the developer and, interestingly, Golf Story was originally meant to be on the Wii U. Sidebar Games also revealed that Nintendo was very helpful in bringing their game to the Switch platform.

The lack of a Virtual Console has since been attributed to Nintendo focusing on its NES and SNES Classic, according to fans, although no official statement has been released on the matter. For a game like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, that equates to not having access to your shield. If there were to be a new Smash title in the future, it would certainly be a good idea to have the controller support ready. Earlier this week, intrepid users discovered that the update has also enabled GameCube controller support. From here they would have to click on "Transfer Your User and Save Data" to shift to the data to a new system. You'll be able to pair them up through the settings menu as well as by using the L and R buttons.

The new update Switch 4.0 gives news a new look and new feature that eliminates the content of a particular channel from the source when it no longer tracks the channel. After the group's creation, the software of all the other members will be updated to the latest version in the group. Are you excited about the new features it brings?
