Adding a classic server option "is a larger endeavor than you might imagine, but we're committed to making an authentic Blizzard-quality classic experience", Brack says. Players will be able to dominate warfronts to claim the continents of Kul Tiras and Zandalar for the Alliance or the Horde, depending on your preferred faction. Ahead of the release of a new expansion, Blizzard is gonna let players change things up. A quick preview video of the expansion also teases new dungeons, raids, allied races, and uncharted islands to plunder.

While that trailer lives up to Blizzard's legacy of creating cinematics worthy of the big screen, it unfortunately doesn't tell us much about the game itself.

Here's some more information on World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, the new cinematic trailer and some screenshots. In Battle for Azeroth, The Horde and Alliance go head to head while seeking new allies to take control of the islands.

The expansion will also feature Warfront, 20-player cooperative PvE battles reminiscent of RTS favorite Warcraft. Blizzard announced the new expansion today at BlizzCon during its "World of Warcraft: What's Next?" panel.

Players will adventure through the oldest city in Azeroth, Zuldazar, as well as the swamps of Nazmir and deserts of Vol'dun.

Not a lot is known yet about how World of Warcraft Classic will work.

First up, PvP servers are going away entirely.

It's bringing new story content (focusing on the Horde and the Alliance seeking new powers and strategic positions to best their opponents, and the fights between their leaders, Sylvanas and Anduin), an increased level cap, and new races with unique racial abilities.
