Free NFL Picks Week 12: Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders Predictions 11/26/17

We have a crucial AFC West showdown on tap as the Denver Broncos face off against the Oakland Raiders in week 12 National Football League action.

In a move that wasn't all that surprising, the Broncos have made a decision to go with Paxton Lynch as their starting quarterback for their Week 12 matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

The second-year quarterback from Memphis went 1-1 as a starter in 2016 with one touchdown and one interception. He lost the starting quarterback job to Siemian previous year and an injury to his throwing shoulder has kept him out since August.

After firing Mike McCoy on Monday, the Broncos are making a quarterback change. As such the remainder of the Broncos season will be defined by pride and opportunity. Osweiler had previously replaced Trevor Siemian, who started the Broncos' first seven games of the season after beating out Lynch in training camp. In that game, Brock Osweiler completed 23 of 42 passes for 254 yards, a touchdown, and a pick while Devontae Booker led the ground game with 14 carries for 44 yards and Demaryius Thomas led the receivers with 5 receptions for 64 yards and the touchdown-pass from Oswiler. The Broncos need clarity at the position, and on Lynch specifically, as they plan for the offseason. Lynch had just three completions longer than 10 yards.

Sunday against the rival Raiders will mark the third start of Lynch's career; he appeared in three games, starting two, last season as Siemian nursed injuries.

Lynch was asked last week if he believed he was ready, physically and from a study standpoint, to be the starter.

In a season full of accusations of quitting, not caring and just being flat out soft, Anderson's postgame demeanor should serve as a reminder to all; you don't care more than they do.
