The two officially met a year ago during Kehlani's interview with Nessa of Hot 97, where they discussed body shamming in hip hop and the importance of women supporting each other.

Thursday night (Nov. 30) was a big night for Kelly Clarkson, as she received the Powerhouse Award at the 2017 Billboard Women In Music Awards, performing a booming rendition of her song "Meaning of Life" and delivering an inspiring speech on how there's "room for everyone" in the music industry.

"Other than that little hiccup, everything has been really great in our lives, and we're very blessed and grateful." she told Extra on the red carpet.

"The guy was in our kid's room... so it was a little weird", she says, adding, "other than that everyone is safe and good".

She and her family were not in the house at the time of the incident.

Kelly has children River Rose, three, and Remington Alexander, 19 months with her husband Brandon Blackstock.

"I just have to speak up", Kehlani said of her vocal persona. "And be progressive with (my) sound, and Pink is one of those people".

She believes that together with this titles also comes a "huge responsibility, ' and she wants to encourage other people in a hard position in their lives that they can 'make it through". I'm so exhausted. I'm so exhausted as a mother by watching it. We've got to start respecting each other first and not with the beef...
