Apple Pay Cash is available in the United States on iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and later, Apple Watch, iPad Pro, iPad (5th Generation), iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.

This feature enables users to send money to other iPhone users through the Messages app.

Apple on Saturday, December 2 published an update of the operating system for mobile devices - iOS 11.2. And you can only use it if you update your iPhone to the latest iOS version. But the company delayed its launch until the release of iOS 11.2, which the company made available over the weekend.

So how does Apple Pay Cash work?

Further, talking about new features on the iOS 11.2, the update is about 325.7 MB in sizes and it is already available via OTA. A support document issued by Apple tells users to turn off notifications for all apps on the iDevice before installing iOS 11.2.

Square Cash is another Apple Pay Cash rival.

Big banks in Canada eventually adopted Apple Pay, so that's a good sign.

You can set up Apple Pay Cash in the Wallet & Apple Pay area inside the Settings app. If the charging level is low, then you need to connect to AC power until the completion of the installation process.

Tap the Messages App Store icon to the left of the iMessage text field, and select Apple Pay there. To verify, enter your SSN and date of birth. If you use a credit card, there is a 3% fee on each transaction, which can be avoided altogether by using a debit card. You can then choose what you want to do with the money once it is received.

Now that you're all set up, it's time test this new feature out!

There's a new way to send cash to friends and family.

Users will also be able to instruct Siri to send cash to others (as you can see in the image above). Alternatively, P2P balances can be directed back to the user's bank account.
