Fans that witnessed the first season will recall seeing Killgrave's neck being snapped, so seeing the character right next to Jessica is quite interesting. Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, starred in the Netflix original series Marvel's The Defenders this summer, so luckily, we've checked in with the character. "Just by nature of a new structure and it being more emotional, you have to expand the world beyond just Jessica's head".

It obvious that others in Hollywood could take some pointers from the web series which will make its second season premiere in 2018.

As this is the first teaser trailer, it's meant to get you excited about the new season without giving away too much.

Since the first season of Jessica Jones ended up winning a Peabody Award, the anticipation is high to see what Marvel will deliver for her second season.

Based on the Marvel Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as the troubled, superpowered private investigator.

When a new case lands on her doorstep, Jones finds herself confronting who she really has become, digging into her past and exploring the reasons as to why she's become who she now is. As we get closer to the release date, Netflix will share more information, trailers and promotional materials about the overall story of the season. Other Netflix shows now in development are Daredevil season 3, Luke Cage season 2, and Iron Fist season 2. The next one in line could be Luke Cage based on filming timelines, and then after that the third season of Daredevil alongside the second season of Iron Fist.

ROSENBERG: In season 1, we focused on Jessica's trauma, on Jessica facing her abuser, but in season 2, we wanted to go even deeper than that. Mike Colter's Luke Cage, Wil Traval's Will Simpson, Carrie-Anne Moss's Jeri Hograth, and Eka Darville's Malcolm Ducasse are expected to return for season two.
