According to the Mirror's John Cross, Sanchez has been included in the squad for the match after training on Tuesday, with manager Arsene Wenger sending the message he will not consider any bids for the Chilean prior to kick-off. "Obviously, we will see what happens in this transfer period if a good player comes to us that is better". "Everybody is doing a good job." he said.

Sanchez's acquisition would enhance that further still as they compete for multiple trophies and make a slip-up in the Premier League, which they lead by 15 points, even less likely to occur. However, they made a decision to pursue the Chilean after striker Gabriel Jesus suffered a knee ligament injury that will keep him out of action for at least six weeks.

Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move to Man City with reports suggesting Pep Guardiola will finalise the transfer this month. We don't have to take care about that anyway.

The club are thought to be close to agreeing a new contract with De Bruyne but the player insists there is no rush.

While the Belgian's performance on the pitch was impressive - scoring the equaliser - his performance off the pitch wasn't quite so good.

'We are still in negotiations, ' he added. I am waiting for an offer from the club but my agent has been on holiday for three weeks. It has been a tough period for four months now.

'We go there (Liverpool) to win the game.

"I'm not in a hurry".

Sanchez is one of three high-profile Arsenal players who have entered the final year of their contracts, with the Gunners also running the risk of losing Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere for nothing at the end of this season.
