Home and Away actress Jessica Falkholt has had her life support turned off, nearly three weeks after a horrific Boxing Day vehicle crash that killed her parents and sister.

The 29-year-old has spent the last 16 days following the crash in a medically induced coma in hospital and has undergone multiple surgeries.

"All four have now died after Jessica's life support was switched off. RIP to Jess and her family".

She now remains in critical condition, a hospital spokeswoman has confirmed.

Home And Away actress Jessica Falkholt has died in hospital, just one day after the funeral of her parents and sister.

News of her life support being switched off came after her family were laid to rest in Sydney - including sister Annabelle and parents Lars and Vivian.

"Rest in peace, lovely Jessica Falkholt", it said.

Jessica's life support was reportedly turned off on Thursday night, a day after her family was farewelled at a funeral at St Mary's Catholic church in Concord.

Their parents, Lars and Vivian, were killed instantly.

After the crash, Darien Collier was one of the first people on the scene and pulled the sisters from the wreckage.

Craig Whitall, who died at the scene, was recognised as a habitual driving offender with over 60 offences to his name.

Whitall was reportedly travelling home from a Nowra methadone clinic when the crash happened.

'The irony of this tragedy is Lars was such a careful driver, ' Mr Ponticello said.

"Whenever he'd ask to drive somewhere - I'd suggest a time for an average driver and add on some additional time for the "Lars factor" because he was so careful".

While the actress is best known for her appearance in long-running soap Home And Away, she enjoyed minor roles in Aussie dramas Underbelly: Badness and Tricky Business. We'd always have a laugh. "We take little comfort in knowing that they are together and always will be".

Jessica has starred in the Australian film Harmony, which is set for release in early 2018.
