NFL Schedule 2018: Three London Games Announced

The Eagles will play the Jaguars either October 21 or 28 at Wembley, and the Titans will play the Chargers on one of those two dates as well (apparently the league needed some flexibility) before nailing down which game would be played on which date.

The game will be played at London's Wembley Stadium on either Sunday, Oct. 21 (Week 7) or Sunday, Oct. 28 (Week 8).

Waller, NFL executive vice-president of events and global, said: "I think we are ready, we have definitely learned a lot in the 11 years we have been doing this".

"The beauty of our season is that we play once a week and we only play 16 games", said Waller.

"It was an honor to be part of the early wave of regular-season games played overseas back then, and it is every bit the honor to represent the league in London this time around".

One of the jokes about the NFL's games in London has been that we annually send the United Kingdom awful matchups.

The NFL launched the International Series in 2007, with a regular season game between Miami and the New York Giants at Wembley Stadium. The contest will be a "home" game for the Chargers, so the Bolts will play seven regular-season home games at the StubHub Center in 2018. There will be just three London games after having four in 2017, and that helps the quality of the matchups too.

The game will be played in week six of the season on October 14. As for the Mexico City game, the Los Angeles Rams will play the Kansas City Chiefs in Estadio Azteca.

"This is another important year as we develop our plans for London and the United Kingdom", said Mark Weller, the NFL's executive vice president of events and global. By playing games on three consecutive weeks we will learn a lot, both from the fans buying tickets and attending games, and from a logistics and organisational standpoint.

Spurs signed a 10-year agreement in 2015 to host two matches per season at their new home, which is being constructed to replace White Hart Lane.

You can watch the National Football League playoffs on Sky this year as they'll be broadcasting all the games live.

It will be played on the stadium's artificial surface, which sits beneath the retractable grass pitch. The order of those games will be announced closer to the season.
