Vikings take Bradford off IR for playoffs; 4th QB on roster

There were three home games in which Minnesota allowed just a single third-down conversion all game. New Orleans has a clear in edge in passing yards per game with Brees under center, averaging 261.8 (5th) versus Minnesota's 234.6 (11th).

"It just feels right down there", quarterback Case Keenum said.

But it's their defense that has been their calling card this season, ranking first in points and yards allowed.

"I've been a fan of his for a long time", Keenum said.

The duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have provided nightmares for opposing defenses this season. Bradford dressing for the game would not necessarily mean he would play ahead of Bridgewater, and it would be a significant step if the Vikings were to put him on their 46-man active roster for the game at all.

Next Sunday, the Vikings will be the first team to host a divisional playoff game in a year where they host the Super Bowl.

Teddy Bridgewater is healthy, at least healthy enough to be the Minnesota Vikings' backup quarterback since November 12. I've admired how he moves the ball down field and what kind of leader he is. Brees roots for the little guy, too. They're the first pair of running backs on the same team to each have at least 1,500 yards from scrimmage in a season.

Bradford was stellar in the opening win against the Saints, but unable to play the following week. The Vikings are so far down their depth chart they can nearly see Josh Freeman. However, Foles is 3-1 in his four late-season starts, including completing 23 of 30 passes for 246 yards in the divisional playoff win over the Falcons. Rookie Marshon Lattimore, who has five interceptions, also joins Jordan as the Pro Bowler on defense.

In the team's Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings the offense was anemic at best, and barely resembled the squad that finished at or near the top of the league in several statistical categories. But we found out who we are. "We have the Saints and we can't afford to look past that". The difference for New Orleans here is whether they can put pressure on the Vikings front to get to Case Keenum as they have been one of the most balanced teams in the National Football League and if they can't keep their pivot upright this weekend it could be their downfield and spoil the chance to play in a Super Bowl at home. He became eligible to practice before the Vikings' Week 17 game, but didn't until the following Tuesday.
