While it's not known if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle headed back to their Kensington Palace cottage in London with the cheese wedding cake in tow, the couple's private secretary was snapped leaving Cardiff castle carrying a basket laden with gifts.

Dressed in a navy blue coat by British designer Stella McCartney, paired with denim pants made by the Welsh brand Hiut, Ms Markle shook hands with members of the public and thanked them for coming.

Prince Harry has enlisted Amy Pickerill, the Senior Communications Officer for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as Harry himself, to be the former Suits actress' first private secretary, in preparation for Meghan becoming a full-time royal. "They were so cute honestly", an eyewitness shared.

Originally a Welsh name meaning "pearl", the traditional spelling of the name, Megan, came in at number 83 in 2016 with a total of 658 babies given the moniker, according to official Office for National Statistics figures.

During a tour of the 2,000-year-old building, Meghan and Harry will be treated to performances from musicians and poets, will meet leading athletes, and learn how organisations are promoting the Welsh language and cultural identity. Meghan reportedly said that she was "so happy that we are here today", adding that "it is a lovely space". "I gave her a flag to give to Harry and said he should wave it next time Wales play England in the rugby". "At the Principality Stadium, we have the best singing. People are in tune, which you can't say for most football stadiums".

The couple, who started dating in July 2016, will then go on to visit Tremorfa's Star Hub, which is a community and leisure centre in the north-east of Cardiff.

"That is why I'm suggesting that as a wedding present to Prince Harry and Meghan we encourage - insist - push Slough Council to donate a building to SHOC". They also met with young women from the UsGirls project, which aims to address the barriers that prevent many young women from taking part in sport. The couple was met by the massive crowd that waited for them despite their late arrival. Instead, the chapel will be filled with family and friends of the royal couple, and that's the way they want it to be.

As most royal fans know, Harry and Markle will Wednesday on May 19 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
